We are exited to share Dana Levi’s participation in “Dissensus: Legislation, Planning, Architecture”, a new group exhibition at the Tel-Aviv museum of Art, curated by Hadas Yossifon and Meira Yagid.

Opening: Wednesday, December 30, at 8 pm.
The exhibition will be held through May 22, 2022.

“Dissensus” implies constant friction between values, interests and cultures. The projects, largely produced especially for the exhibition, were created by architects and planners in collaboration with artists from the fields of visual culture, plastic art, film and music. The works tend to issues concerning the highly centralized Israeli planning system and its favoring of security needs over civic and professional agendas. They present a maze of conflicts between systems and actors, to highlight the friction that the consensus tends to obscure. Are existing planning methods relevant within the current economic-political climate?

Is it possible to move from consumer discourse to ethical discourse on common civil responsibility and solidarity?
Dana will show a new commissioned work: a wall collage made of 50 different documents, maps and photographs, and a video conversation with Oren Yiftachel and human rights lawyer Michael Sfard.
