Geneva Hutcheson of the Columbia Spectator reviews ‘Specters of Communism’, the group exhibition curated by Boris Groys, with works by Anton Ginzburg. Hutcheson writes that “Ginzburg’s work “Walking the Sea” focuses on the shrinking of the Aral Sea caused by Soviet irrigation programs. Related to this work is his “Aral Sea Tapestry,” which shows the seas shrinking more literally than the mirror and cane of his “Walking the Sea”. http://columbiaspectator.com/arts-and-entertainment/2015/02/12/post-soviet-union-aftermath-display-%E2%80%98specters-communism
