Nezaket Ekici and Shahar Marcus are to present their collaborative work “The Honey Project” with 13 additional performers, immigrants from East and West, representing different linguistic regions.
The performance will take place at the 12th International Exhibition for Contemporary Art Dresden. With peace in mind, the work offers an internalization of cultures and languages of the world through which mutual understanding can be achieved. The performance anticipates a utopia in which distances between cultures, languages, and religions no longer exist.
OSTRALE Dresden opens July 3, 2019.
“The Honey Project” first premiered at Baustellenfest, Haus am Waldsee, Skulpturenpark, Berlin, in August 2018.
