Ruth Patir in “Hope There’s Someone (To Touch)”

May 15, 2020

The virtual exhibition “Hope There’s Someone (To Touch)” is the second part of a trilogy co-curated by Catinca Tabacaru and Rachel Monosov as a response to the current global crisis.

In her work Marry, Fuck, Kill, Ruth Patir animates the ancient stone rendering of a female goddess and ends on a philosophical note of the movement from oppression to freedom. The exhibition obserevs the tactile and rhythmic qualities in the selected works as a prescient reflection on the absence of touch felt during this quarantine time.

Available for online viewing at Catinca Tabacaru.
