Ruth Patir at Art Cube Artists’ Studios

In “Marry, Fuck, Kill” (2019) by Ruth Patir the artist and her mother talk sexuality and liberation while her mother’s image takes the form of an ancient fertility figurine, dating back to the period of the first temple. Following a screening, Patir, along with artist Ronit Porat and curator Maayan Sheleff, will engage in conversation about archeology, gender, and what lies between.

Patir’s work can be found in the exhibition “Stumbling Through the Uncanny Valley: Sculpture and Self in the Age of Computer Generated Imagery” through September 7 at the CCA Tel-Aviv.
