The Liebling Program is a research and action group that brought together 13 artists from various fields, dealing with the concept of conservation and urban thinking. The program, which was the result of cooperation with the Conservation Department of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality, was developed for the purpose of examining the future activity of the White City Center: an urban body that will study the city, emphasizing the years of its establishment and understanding the modernist influences that shape it. The program was created by Hila cohen-schneiderman folowing the request of the management team to propose temporary use of the building at 29 Idelson Street, which will house the center. The building was donated to the city by Tony Liebling, underwent many incarnations and was abandoned for years. Its renovation will begin in August 2017 and its official opening is planned for 2019.
