2019 marks the centennial of the Bauhaus movement. While the German Bauhaus School operated only 14 years (1919-1933), its influence on global architecture and design remains significant and far-reaching to this day.
The opening exhibition of The Liebling Haus – White City Center focuses on the controversial Transfer Agreements that established economic relations between the Nazi regime in Germany and the Zionist movement, allowing tens of thousands of German Jews to emigrate to Palestine in the 1930s.
The Transfer Agreement is a joint project of the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation and The White City Center. The exhibition is simultaneously shown in Dessau and Tel Aviv.
