David Adika and Dana Levy are participating in “Still/Life”, a group exhibition at the Art Cube Artists’ Studios, Jerusalem. The oxymoron “still life” imbues the featured artworks with additional resonances stemming from the artistic manipulation of plant imagery. The transformation of natural vegetation into an image, or signifier, strips it of its inherent organic qualities, transforming it into a frozen, lifeless object. Participating artists include: Einat Amir ,Tal Amitai-Lavi, Einat Arif-Galanti ,Orit Hemmo and Eliezer Sonnenschein.
