Dana Levy’s work “Intrusions – A Ghost From The Future (detail)”, 2014-2022 is featured in This Place We Once Remembered group exhibition at Wave Hill, New York.
The work explores architectural space through time. It investigates memory, collective memories and imagined ones. The artist is an intruder, she intrudes the old photographs, climbs through the windows, stands on chairs brushes her hands against the walls where crowded bookshelves once stood but are today only bare walls, in a desire to experience history, not through reading about it, but by moving through it like a time traveler.

The exhibition will be run through August 6, 2023.
