Opening January 23, is “Aliyah V’Kotz Ba” featuring works by Anna Yam and Mark Yashaev, among others.
The group show addresses the large wave of Aliyah (immigration of Jews from the diaspora to the Land of Israel) in the 1990s, where, along with positive slogans, other, negative ideas were, and are, voiced. The works on view question concepts such as roots and identity in a new and uncompromising geographical space.
