Ruth Patir now on view in the exhibition “Bonnes Mères” at MUCEM, Marseille.

For over four thousand years, motherhood has been central to tales, rites and images that shape the course of societies. Drawing from Mediterranean cultural sources, the exhibition Good Mothers explores motherhood as an intimate experience, social construct, political matter and artistic theme.

Patir participates in the exhibition with her work “Keening”, from the project (M)otherland.
