Artist Ari Benjamin Meyers in conversation about his works as part of cycle of sound arts and sound studies conferences, organized by the Université Paris 8 and “The Instant Chavirés”, in partnership with “π-Node”.

The conference will include an introduction to the “Kunsthalle for Music” project, its history, as it is apparent and may be, and more importantly, why it has seen the light of day. The position of the “Kunshalle for Music” in relation to contemporary music and visual arts will be analyzed. Various works and commands belonging to Ari’s repertoire will be discussed. This analysis will lead to a discussion on certain recent works.
