Ruth Patir and Ana Wild have joined forces to create a new work for the exhibition vi-vi-vi-video now.
Considering the return to the public sphere, Four Mothers is installed in the gallery yet visually it remains nearly unattainable. The sound installation is based on remote sensors that activate a quartet of women shouting “Mother!” according to the viewer’s placement, in what appears to be an empty space.
For the full experience, the work is currently on view at The New Gallery – Artists’ Studios Teddy through June 2021.
