Dor Zlekha Levy has been an artist in residence this year at Artport Tel Aviv, and his latest work is a site-specific projection installation occurring in the space between the artist’s studio and the wall of a building viewed from his window.

The work was first previewd as part of ‘Exit Strategies’, a series of events in the public space in Tel Aviv, initiated by the Tel Aviv Municipality and The Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts, in reaction to Covid-19. Wall Piece is a a feedback loop in which the wall resonates itself and becomes infinite, a prolific ground for artistic action and a new perspective that reconfigures the familiar urban space.

After its initial presentation, the installation is back and is expected to be on view outside of Artport every Thursday night as of June 25 and through September 2020.
