Presenting single-channel videos and larger scale video sculpture/installations, Moving Image has been conceived to offer a viewing experience with the excitement and vitality of a fair, while allowing moving-image-based artworks to be understood and appreciated on their own terms.

Braverman Gallery is pleased to participate with the work “The Multipillory” by Gilad Ratman, a video installation based on the medieval torture device. The project depicts twelve people inserting their heads into a simulated tropical forest. The piece combines cruel and humiliating elements with comic and absurd ones. The installation exposes the mechanism of its own production.
