NAVOT MILLER | Solo exhibition
Braverman Gallery is pleased to present Navot Miller’s first solo exhibition in Israel. Miller will show a series of oil paintings depicting scenarios that range between religion, masculinity and homoeroticism while flirting with compositions from the history of art.
Miller’s practice starts with documentation. He is photographing and filming moments and events happening around him and by doing so Miller builds his own atlas of memories to later translate it into his works. His personal way of looking at things allows him to create architectural compositions of emotional experiences.
Each painting captures a moment in his life; an intimate encounter, a place from his childhood, a sexual encounter or a joyful moment spent with friends and lovers.
Vivid blues, pinks, greens and yellows are evocative seducers that entice us to sneak into the scene as silent and curious observers of Navot Miller’s world.
