Uri Kloss (b. 1993, Israel) lives and works in Kibbutz Hasolelim and Tel Aviv.
His paintings deal with the idea of the relationship between a pattern and a segment of it. He is interested in the tension between the infinity of a pattern and the fact that it’s been cut and framed. This motive is tested in his shutters paintings, which deal with the question of a spatial continuum that embodies diverse points of view.
Kloss’s work has been exhibited at venues such as Kunsthal Charlottenburg – Copenhagen, Museum Sztuki MS2 – Lodz, International Photography Festival Israel and in the Contemporary Art Gallery Tivon.
