Ira Eduardovna was born and raised in the Soviet Union until she immigrated to Israel in 1990. She currently lives and works in New York and holds an MFA from Hunter College NY. Eduardovna’s work explores the boundaries between video and architecture while examining identity in flux. Her latest multi-channel video installations Involve deconstructed narratives projected on three-dimensional objects. The shape of the objects is influenced by the architectural structure of her videos. Eduardovna usually performs in her videos alongside members of her family. Her works have been shown in Israel, Europe and the US.
