Dana Yoeli

Bio

Dana Yoeli (b. 1979 Seattle, United States) is an Israeli artist based in Tel Aviv. Her diverse practice relies on a wide range of media, constructing large scale installations, drawing and sculpture.

Yoeli received both her BFA (2005) and her MFA (2010) from the Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, including exchange studies at HAW Hamburg. In 2010 she participated and Exhibited on venue in the 10th Real presence workshop in Serbia. In 2013-2014 she will be a resident artist in IDA Hanover, in collaboration with Schir.

Yoeli is a recipient of the Mif’al HaPa’is (Israeli lottery) grant (2013), the Young Artist award from the Israeli Ministry of Culture (2012), the Noam Shodofsky award for young artist (2005), and the DAAD stipend (2005). She has exhibited large-scale commissioned projects in leading nonprofit spaces such as the Kav 16 community gallery in Tel Aviv, Dana Gallery in kibbutz Yad Mordechai, The Haifa Museum of Art, as well as Bat Yam Museum of Art, and in numerous galleries in Israel and abroad.
