When Rainer Schell, the architect of Goethe-Institute Paris, ended his career after 30 years, he completely destroyed his archive. He merely summarized a small selection of his texts and drawings for some friends and acquaintances in the book “30 Years as an Architect”. This book is juxtaposed to srtist’s own archive:
In the groundfloor exhibition an almost 80-meter-long curtain shows about half a million photos. In the basement a selection of book objects is presented on 21 screens.
