Yonatan Vinitsky gained his BA Fine Art at Goldsmiths College (2006) and his MA Sculpture at Royal College of Art (2009). In the years 2013-14, he attended the Pavillon Residency, Palais de Tokyo, Paris, FR.

Vinitsky is the recipient of Isracard Prize for young Israeli Artist,Tel Aviv Museum of Art, 2013 and the Young artist Award, Minister of culture, 2014. In the years 2013, 2015, Vinitsky received grants for projects from the Israeli Lottery Arts Fund Mifal HaPais.
