Tommy Hartung’s solo exhibition “LILITH” is reviewed by Telavivian

March 13, 2017

Marissa Shapiro of Telavivian reviewed Tommy Hartung’s “LILITH,” on view until March 21st at Braverman Gallery.

“How do the two and three-dimensional world interact and play games with our perception of reality? Artist Tommy Hartung  asks this question, using stop-motion video, photography and projections overlaid on sculptures to spark this conversation.  For the first time in his professional career, the renowned artist is using sculpture and light together to draw the viewer in and invite them to enter the works themselves.”
